FAQ

A LOFTD is a custom-designed, purpose-built golf space that brings a premium simulator experience home. Each LOFTD is designed around your property and preferences, combining thoughtful architecture, premium finishes and year-round comfort in a space built for golf, entertainment and more.

Everything needed to design and build your LOFTD is included - from site preparation and construction to interior and exterior finishes, electrical, lighting, climate control, and final installation. Golf simulator technology and municipal permit fees are additional, allowing us to tailor the technology package to your preferences and budget.

Every LOFTD is designed around your property and the experience you’re looking to create. As a general guideline, we recommend a footprint of at least 12 ft wide × 20 ft deep, with larger spaces allowing for additional seating, entertainment and lounge areas. Our team will assess your property and help determine the ideal size and layout for your space.

Each unit comes with a helical pile foundation – a durable, efficient solution that works in most settings, and is included in the base price. Prefer a concrete slab? We’re happy to coordinate that for you at an additional cost.

Yes, a building permit is required for any structure over 160 sq. ft in Ontario. We take care of all permits and compliance. You won’t have to manage any paperwork or zoning requirements.

Timelines vary depending on the scope of your project, permitting and site conditions. Once permits are approved, most LOFTD builds are completed within approximately 6–8 weeks. We’ll provide a project-specific timeline before construction begins.

LOFTD studios are compatible with all major launch monitors - including Trackman, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, and more.
